Stress and the importance of added Omega 3 in our diet.
Due to the extreme stress the current pandemic, COVID-19 has placed on the entire population of the globe, the importance of our diet has never been more relevant. The damage this stress causes to our immune system leaves our bodies open for more problems now as well as into our future.
The addition of Omega 3 in either supplementation or derived from a food source is one single thing we all can do to help us get through this with minimal damage to our bodies. The damage being caused now may not transpire for years to come however it IS DOING DAMAGE NOW!
NOTE: Chia seeds are a food source not a supplement. Also flax seed or oil should be avoided, (a component in flax is called a B antagonist which means it blocks your bodies ability to absorb B vitamins) which will be another topic.
